They say they've never seen you.
Say the heavens never speak
Say their prayers fall
Into silence
When their nights are at their peak
They say you've gone and left them
That they're wandering alone
That you no longer whisper
To a world that turned to stone
They say they cannot find you
Though they've searched both earth and sky
They wonder if you see them
Or just watch their sorrows fly
They say your hand is vanished
That their hope has come undone
